OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES FOR KKCY Jelly Roll Donut Contest
Here are the official rules for the KKCY Jelly Roll Donut Contest(“Contest”), being conducted by Country 103.1 KKCY, (hereafter referred to as “Station”) and its owner Results Radio LLC, starting August 29 and ending 11:59PM August 29 2024 (“Contest Period”)
The Station may change the dates and/or terms, conditions, or rules of the Contest without prior notice. Any material changes to the Contest or its rules will be broadcast and posted on KKCY.com (hereafter referred to as “Website”). Station reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or modify the Contest as it deems necessary if it is not capable of completion as planned to include, without limitation, because of infection by computer virus, tampering, unauthorized intervention, legal challenge or technical failures of any kind.
Station Judges will be the sole interpreter of Contest rules. All decisions by the Station Judges will be final. Entry into this Contest constitutes agreement by Entrant to abide by these rules.
By entering Contestant acknowledges that this event may require COVID-19 proof of vaccination or negative PCR test for entry, and/or may require attendees to wear masks during the performance. Requirements for the venue are subject to change up until the event.
By participating, Contestant consents to Station contacting them by telephone, email, or text.
By entering, Contestants agree to indemnify this Station and Results Radio LLC from and against all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from use of the prize or participation in this Contest.
By entering, Contestants, Semi Finalists, Finalists, and Winners agree to allow use of their entry materials (including submitted image(s), Name, written material, and Voice) in Station on-air, stream, social media, newsletter, website, or other Station publicity platforms.
Listeners of the Station online stream may not be able to participate in or be disadvantaged in participating in certain contests due to delays with the streaming of the broadcast signal. The Station is not responsible for technological errors or failures of the phone, text, internet, email, or computer systems.
No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Contest is void where prohibited by law.
WHO CAN ENTER (ELIGIBILITY)
Contestants and Finalists who do not meet this Contest’s Eligibility requirements will be disqualified, and ineligible to become the contest winner.
The Contest is open to all US citizens who reside fulltime in the State of California and who are age 14 years or older (“Contestant”).
Current or former employees of Results Radio LLC, their immediate family members (including ex-spouses, parents, grandparents, children, grandchildren, siblings, in-laws), individuals legally residing in the same household as current employees, Company affiliates, agents, successors, assignees, any promotional agency involved with this promotion, current employees of other Radio stations in California and their family members, are NOT eligible to participate or win.
Contestants are required to provide truthful information to the Station on entry and during entire operation of the Contest. Station will disqualify any entry discovered to be based upon false or untruthful information.
Failure to comply with the Rules may result in a Contestant’s disqualification and forfeiture of the Prize. Station, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest, and to disqualify that Contestant from entering or winning future contests.
HOW TO ENTER
To enter (“Contestant”), visit the Website and complete the online entry form, correctly guessing the number of jelly beans that are in the Dave & Briggs sealed jar. Entry period is ends at 11:59pm August 29 2024.
Contestant may enter a maximum of 1 time during the Contest Period. More than 1 Contestant per household is eligible to enter. Contestant is defined as a unique email address.
THE PRIZE
The Prize is: 2 will-call tickets for Jelly Roll appearing at Golden 1 Center Sacramento September 4 2024.
There is one (1) Prize.
Prize Total Value is: $283.70 (includes all ticketing and venue service fees).
METHOD OF DETERMINING AND CONTACTING FINALIST(s) and WINNER.
There is one (1) Winner. The Finalist is the Contestant who correctly guesses the number of jelly beans in the jar. In the event no correct guess is made, the closest guess will be declared the Finalist. In the event of a tie, a random drawing of tied Contestants will be conducted. The Finalist will be declared the Winner upon verification of Eligibility.
The odds of winning depend on the number of entries received. Station Judges decision is final.
If the Winner fails to sign required forms within 5 business days, the Prize will be forfeited, and a new Finalist will be drawn at random.
REDEMPTION OF PRIZE
Winner must appear to present valid, government-issued photo identification and personal social security number together with complete personal residence address, date of birth, and phone number, all such information to exactly match the information as supplied by Contestant’s entry. Winner will sign required affidavits and releases at Station offices or mutually agreed location, or the Prize will be forfeit. Advance appointment at mutually agreed day and time is required.
After signing affidavits and releases, the Prize will be awarded to the Winner at the Will Call Window at Golden 1 Center on the day of the concert Wednesday September 4 2024.
Prize cannot be awarded to third parties on behalf of the Winner, or else the Winner forfeits.
Prize is not transferable and may not be substituted for any reason, including but not limited to cancellation or postponement of events, business disruption, or other situations beyond the control of the Station.
Winner will be required to fill out a W-9 form to claim Prize, or else the Winner forfeits. Taxes are not included. Payment of taxes will be the legal responsibility of Winner.
